The Fab 4 and the Silent Retreat
Four Caribbean women who are at crossroads about aspects of their lives (getting engaged, late-stage pregnancy, taking care of parents, Rastafarian-converted child)...hilariously debate each friend's dilemma and argue about how to celebrate their impending 40th birthdays. Faced with the challenge to do something more spiritually meaningful than a fancy party or beach-front getaway, they begrudgingly decide on a Silent Retreat deep in the remote hillsides of Nepal, India. While the ladies believe (somewhat) the excursion will lead to clarity and a higher state of consciousness for the next stage of their lives, they are in for a rude “awakening.”
